The VANIR corporate logo is simple and powerful. It has two components – the stylized ‘V’ symbol and the logotype which is based on the VANIR created typeface. The combined logo creates an important connection to other product brands within the VANIR portfolio.
The name Vanir owes its origin to one of the two groups of gods of Norse mythology, linked to land and water, patterns of fertility, wealth, pleasure and peace. Etymologically, the name has a proto-Indo-European root meaning “to fight, to win”. It is a projection of self-improvement, that every challenge must be overcome with effort, sacrifice and struggle. On the other hand, Vanir remembers the word Avenir, the future, since our nutritional supplements are designed to adapt to the changes that the future holds and to the new needs of people.
Vanir Health is a company born in 2016 that is part of Opko Health Inc., a biopharmaceutical and diagnostic multinational based in the USA that in 2012 enters Europe with the purchase of Pharmadiet.
The logo is the result of the fusion of several representative elements of the values of the brand. Thus, we like to think that our corporate symbol can be associated with the symbol of victory or peace and the concept of triumph. It also reminds the validity check, the concept of positivism. Its shape can also be assimilated with leaves that represent nature, an arm marking muscle and an upward arrow as recurrent elements for strength, growth and evolution.
